Artist's Comments

This is another illustration for the game 'Rocketship Empires: 1936'. It is the flagship of the Spanish fleet as she would have appeared early in the timeline of the game. The nautical appearance is no accident. Most early ships were converted from conventional vessels and fitted with Martian drives and other technology.

I tried something a little different with this image: The basic form is a 3D render that's been overpainted in Photoshop. In the future, I think I'll go back to the way I usually do them.
