Artist's Comments

All evil empires need ridiculously impractical technology to be the centerpiece of their forces. It's not just a good idea, it's the law.

Ridiculous, but I think it could still use a huge main cannon on the deck.

Alas, it is no more. The guy behind it left the company to work at Mythic on Warhammer Online. :/

Personally, I think the whole front hull should have split and had some ridiculous energy weapon inside, but it was neither my baby nor Macross. XD

Haha, afterwards it transforms into a mech.

Actually, the general shape reminds me a bit of Gainax's Nautilus, which fit the general requirements for ridiculous.

I love how it looks like a cross between Star Wars technology while still maintaining a sense of reality. It looks like a logical progression in the aircraft carrier family.

Question me not;
I am the one that binds this world!
You follow without sight;
I grow stronger every day!
Take the souls I have damned;
Burn them in my name!
These are the burning times;
The years of pain!

Shame the project got scrapped, these are some really nice concepts.

This is an amazing piece of work... I've seen all of the parts, heh... really amazing and so cool! ^_^

It seems just as practical as a WWII naval destroyer to me.

Though it seems more suited for combat in space (minus the lack of deck guns).

Very Homeworld-esk
