The macrophage of the city's circulatory system, the International HX-3 Heavy Lift Chassis has been adapted to wide variety of roles and configurations by the Engineering Department of the New Dresden Special Economic Zone (NDSEZ).
Here we see a high pressure pumper configured to resist both scavenger attacks and some of the more caustic biofilms. The South Trunk was constructed well before the introduction of the XT invader species, so much of the clearance work has to be done by manned units instead of remotes. All pumpers in currently in service have been uparmored and fitted with additional security features following several ambushes of maintenance crews. It is speculated that these attacks are related to the urban legend that pumpers are sometimes used by paramilitary death squads as strike vehicles. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
