Here's the tutorial I promised awhile back about the techniques I use to digitally color my mechanical designs. I hope it proves useful. Please feel free to ask questions or make suggestions for improvement. Additionally, a smaller resolution version of the unflattened source .psd file may be downloaded at [link]

This was made with Photoshop 7, but should still be useful with other versions.

those brushes make it look as though you colored it with markers, very nice. :)

dude ... i always thought you used markers *ehehe* ... as did a few others by the looks of things. In comparison to markers is this a faster or slower process for you?
